Step 2 on the path of Kriya Yoga. Energization Workshop

What Are The Energization Exercises?
Paramhansa Yogananda taught a series of exercises to increase your energy by drawing on the source of infinite power and cosmic energy.
Explore the link between will power and energy, and how to strengthen both. “The greater the will, the greater the flow of energy” is a universal principle for success in meditation, Kriya Yoga and practical, daily life. This workshop will make you aware of the flow of life force within your body, help you direct and strengthen it, and teach you how to draw upon energy’s Cosmic Source. The “Energization Exercises” taught in this workshop are practiced daily by those wishing to receive Kriya Initiation

Step 3 on the path of Kriya Yoga. Discipleship
What Is Discipleship and
Why Is It Important?

The guru/disciple relationship is an essential ingredient to success on the spiritual path, for it is through attunement, receptivity and grace that we attain our goal. This workshop discusses the nature of a spiritual guru, why one needs such a guide, the role of Paramhansa Yogananda in the life of Kriya yogis, and how an attitude of discipleship serves us well in all aspects of life, whatever our particular path.
Suggested reading : Lessons in Discipleship. (Required for those wishing to receive Kriya Initiation.)
Note about Discipleship:Kriya Initiation is offered to students who feel themselves to be disciples of the gurus of Self-Realization—Jesus Christ, Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswar and Paramhansa Yogananda. Students are asked to affirm this inner commitment with a outer vow of discipleship. This can be done at any point prior to Kriya Initiation. All Ananda centers offer a simple Discipleship Vow Ceremony. Copies of the vow are available upon request. Students are encouraged to give this important decision due consideration and, when possible, to take the Step 3 Discipleship workshop beforehand.

Step 4 on the path of Kriya Yoga. The Aum Technique of Meditation
Upon completion of Workshops 1 through 3, and after being firmly established in a regular meditation routine, a student is ready to learn this more advanced technique of listening to the inner sounds of the chakras, the subtle astral centers of energy in the spine. With practice, one attunes to the cosmic sound of Aum, the Holy Ghost vibration spoken of in the Bible. This workshop will also give you an overview of the astral anatomy of the chakras and their role in our spiritual unfoldment. Required prior reading : Lessons in Discipleship
